Friends and BSU

Garrett and Brooklyn hanging out watching BSU vs. Virginia Tech on the bench with Matt. Couldn't get Garrett to look at me and smile.
Jenny and Victoria sporting the BSU spirit.
3rd quarter not looking good
Did they get a touchdown did they win? Victor was so nervous

Yea they WON!! It was an awesome game.
Kimmy was in disbelief that they won she had to watch the reply to be sure. Thanks Jenny and Victor for hosting an amazing taco bar and game. It was a fun evening with friends.

Labor Day Weekend Fun

Last Friday I got to watch our neighbors little girl, Annde. Brooklyn and her are about 6 weeks apart. They are so cute together. They only had a few moments of mine but for the most part shared and played good together. When they see each other outside they get super excited, Brooklyn points and says Annde then they do there own thing.
It was a fun day and fairly easy since they entertained each other.
Over Labor day weekend Boise was celebrating 100 years in flight so they brought back the Balloon festival. The balloons go up at 7:15am it was early for our house since B sleeps in til 8 or so. Totally worth getting up early to go watch.
The balloons were just starting to fill up. You could walk around and get close to the balloons and met the pilots.
Can you see the 2 men inside the balloon? I thought that was so cool and fun to be inside a hot air balloon.
It's up! B was not so sure at first, especially since we woke her up from a dead sleep, but once she saw them go up she was saying Bye Bye.
There goes the Rocket
Watching some of the balloons take off.
Family self portrait. B was not amused

Someone walking by offered to take our picture must have looked pathetic taking it ourselves.
Here comes the morning sun
This balloon had a hard time taking off since there was not very much wind, so they walked it over to another side of the park to go up over there.
One of these landed in the street by all the houses you see in the background. How fun is that look out your window and see a huge balloon in your front yard. Good Morning!

Can't really see but she is saying CHEEEESE and smiling really big!
Running after dad on our way to the car to go get some breakfast. I hope they do it again next year it was really fun as you can tell I took tons of pictures, I felt like a kid excited to see all the balloons. They had a night balloon lighting that we missed but I would like to go watch next year. We had a great morning went out to breakfast, did a little shopping, I got my haircut while B and Daddy went to Cabela's.  Came home B and daddy took a nap while I went grocery shopping then spent a great evening at our neighbors for dinner. Love family fun Saturdays!

My birthday

Saturday was my birthday so we went to breakfast downtown and then walked the farmers market. It was fun to just be out and about for the morning. We walked over to a little mini park with water and let Brooklyn run around. On our way back to the car she decided to push the stroller herself.

I got some flowers from Danny and came home to yummy strawberries from Jen Casida!
In case you did not get a good view! So yummy and I pretty much got to enjoy them all. Thanks Jen you are great and this was a fabulous surprise waiting at my door. After B and Danny took Naps (yes Danny took a nap that never happens, the working til 2am everyday is catching up) we went to dinner at Red Lobster and went to Macy's for a quick shopping trip. It was a great day and much needed time with the family. Brooklyn especially liked her daddy time. Thank you for all the birthday wishes, cards, gifts, and phone calls it helped to make my day special.
Brooklyn has been into her babies lately, she pushes them in her shopping cart and carries them all around. It has been fun watching her use her imagination more and more these days.

Morining at the Zoo

Danny has been working A LOT lately, so grateful for that but we miss our family time. SO when Danny offered to go do something Saturday morning before working I took him up on that. Thanks to Ricky and Steph we have zoo passes so off we went to see the animals. Every animal was an Owl that day since that was the first thing we saw. Funny how they get one word stuck in there head.
Love this Wallabees exhibit so fun to see them up close.
After we walked out Brooklyn decided to show some people walking past us where to go leading them and talking in her own language top them.

Giraffe's after one went potty and the other one drank it, gross! Never knew they did that.

They have random volunteers around with furs you can pet. Brooklyn was excited about petting the fox until Daddy told her to check out his teeth.
Zebra
This one is just about my size
What a nice beak you have.
Checking out the Asian Black Bear - it is usually sleeping during the day
Overall great few hours home for lunch and nap, then off to the Wheeler's for Matt's birthday.
