Happy Valentines Day!

I hope you all had a good Valentines Day. It was a nice mellow day for us. Danny made breakfast. then Garrett brought Brooklyn a Valentine (so cute, her first one from a boy already!). We visited with Richard and Stephanies family that afternoon then had a great tri-tip dinner and a movie with Matt and Marin. I was then blessed with Brooklyn sleeping through the night until 6am. She is back to getting up at 3am, but one night was really nice. I consider that my Valentines Gift! B likes her new extra soft lamb from the Wheelers. Thanks for thinking of us!

Some shots in her Valentine attire, she is changing everyday. It is fun to see what new things she does.

B's New Trick, Sometimes!

While I was making dinner Brooklyn fell asleep praying :)

We went for a walk Sunday afternoon and she fell asleep before we got 2 houses down.

Getting cozy and warm for our second walk in the cold since she has been born

So here is little video of Brooklyn rolling over, it is not the greatest, but I am sure I will capture more once she does it more. She does not roll over all the time just when she wants to. It has been fun watching her discover new things.

Cute Boys

This is a little video of nephew Brian and our Friends little boy Damon dancing to Yo Gabba Gabba. They were cute playing together

Visiting with Family and Friends

Nana Maria had an open house for Brooklyn on Sunday, we were able to spend some time with family and friends that day. It was nice to not have to run all over the place to visit. We enjoyed our visit, sorry for not really calling anyone to hang out, it was a crazy fast weekend. The main reason for us to be there was for Randy. Hopefully we can see more friends and family next time. Thanks to everyone that spoiled Brooklyn with gifts and for taking the time to visit with us. Anyone that took pictures I would love to get copies, I was not very good at taking them. As you can tell in the posts below the pictures are out of order, but enjoy anyways.
Home sweet home!

Sarah feeding B, you did a great job!

Aunt Jen, completely spoiled Brooklyn. Thanks she will be the best dressed girl around!

Special Day

On Friday we attended the graduation for Randy, it was an emotional day. It was exciting to watch him get his badge and then see the new fightfighters in action. They had a variety of training exercises to show everyone what they had been learning and what they could come across in the field. I am so excited for my brother, he will be stationed in Carson for the next few months. He has a year probation and lots of things to do this year before he will be able to relax, but he will be a great firefighter. After the graduation we went back to moms house for a celebration lunch. Later that evening we had Brooklyn blessed by my dad. It was a special thing for her grandfather to do for us. We were happy to be able to share this moment with our family and friends in California.

Cali or Bust!

Last week we went to California to celebrate my brother, Randy graduating from the LA County Fire Academy and finally fulling his lifelong dream to become a Firefighter. This was a great treat for us to be there to celebrate with him and to share Brooklyn with our family. I have traveled before with my nieces and nephews, but that is quite different. This trip was a lot of firsts for us, which usually means I stress a bit. The plane ride to and from could not have been any better. Our B was an angel she slept the whole time it was wonderful. The weather was good, HOT we are not used to that it was nice to be able to not have to bundle Brooklyn up to go outside. I got to dress B in her cute sundresses!

Brooklyn with her Great Grandpa (nono) It was fun to see Nono light up when holding her.

Tummy Time love those eyes!

Moving on Up!!

This Post is a bit over due, but most of you know already. We MOVED, we are officially Home Owners not Renters anymore. SO glad about that. We miss our old neighborhood (well friends there), but are happy with our purchase. The neighborhood seems nice, we have meet a few of the neighbors and they are all nice. The pics below are out of order and I have not taken any of the house yet so those will come later. Just been crazy busy unpacking, now to decorate. I have never been able to really decorate or hang things on the walls so I have no idea on what to do. Any advice would be appreciated.
B trying out our bed after we out it up, thankfully sleeping on the floor for 2 days was weird.

Moving Day!! We had some awesome friends and family help us move. It was a chilly morning and those boys had everything packed up in a little over an hour it was Crazy! I was glad we had almost everything packed so it could go so smoothly. We started at 10am and by 2pm everyone was feed and gone. Thank you to everyone that helped you are amazing we could not have done it without you. Thank you to Ricky and Steph for taking B all day for us, it was great to not have to worry about her. We are so lucky to have so many great people in our lives.

Celebrating at Marie Calendar's after we dropped off the down payment check and got the keys!! That cookie came with Brooklyn's kids meal, yes it was bigger than her face. Good thing she doesn't know what a cookie is yet, we got to eat it for her.
Brooklyn so excited at the Title company when we got the keys to our first home!!
