Cousins Lisa and Chris
B and Dani getting ready to go. Since we had a long drive we decided to drive to Mesquite on Sunday night this time Brooklyn got a riding partner. Dani came with us to spend a few weeks with us this summer.
The girls driving home on Monday, they did great. Brooklyn didn't sleep as well driving back she was a bit excited to have someone sitting next to her.
On Tuesday we went to the library to the Toddler Story time. After the songs and story they did a little watercolor. This was Brooklyn's first time and I think she had no problem diving right in.
Little Paul's shopping trip to get some lunch. Brooklyn was a crazy shopping cart driver.

Crazy Saturday

Saturday was a Crazy BUSY day! To start it off, Jen and I decided last minute to plan a baby shower for Jeanette so we put it together in a few days and it turned out great. Danny took Brooklyn to the Children's Museum with Phil and cousins Jack and Brian. It was great to enjoy the party and let them have a little cousin time.

Diaper Bag full of great goodies thanks to Auntie Jen
One of my favorite things to get. Thanks to everyone that came it turned out great and Jeanette got some great things and is trying to prepare and adjust to all the PINK things.Thank you Jen for having it at your house and for doing do much work to prepare for the shower. You are the best!

After the shower we went home and got ready for Cousin Jason and Stephanie's engagement party. I didn't get any pictures we were not there very long. We left B to hang out with the family and went to Tim and Megan's Wedding.
This is our good friend Tim with his step son Tanner. Danny has been friends with Tim for over 12 years they have been like brothers to each other. He is a great person and friend. It was such a great moment to watch Tim get married and to finally see him settled down and so dang happy. Megan is a great woman for him they help complete each other and will make a great family.
Such a beautiful wedding. The setting was amazing and everything about it was perfect they did a great job.
The house view from the top of the property, this was Dave Winner's house owner of Fabtech Motorsports. Simply gorgeous.
Lisa, Andrea and I enjoying the view.

This was a great way to end our Saturday, we are so glad that we were able to make it to celebrate the wedding of the Cecil family. We wish you so much love and wonderful memories for many many years to come. It was great to see our friends that we have not seen in a very long time and to be able to enjoy our evening together. Thank you for including us in your special day.

Trip part 2

We made it to California on Saturday afternoon and it was non-stop from there. It was nice to spend a little time in St. George and Henderson since those where the quietest days for us.
We stopped by the Casida's. B loved their dog and playing in Todd's buggy.
Playing on Uncle Mark's rocking horse

Happy Father's day! We spent the morning in Brea with Nana, Grandpa, the Pallevas, and the Sowers. We walked the car show and had some lunch at the Yard House.
We then hung out with more cousins at the Shanks. Can not believe how big the boys are getting! Sad how fast time goes by.
Monday and Tuesday we went to Temecula to see Randy and Ursula's new house. This was the only picture I got for some reason. Claire and B hanging out. They have a great house and live in a nice community it was great to spent some time with them, we missed Randy he was working. Tuesday it was visiting more cousins, Danny's customer and Janelle. I was lame taking pictures so no cute pics of Janelle's kids!

Start of a LONG trip..

to California or Bust! It is about 14-15hr drive from Boise to La Habra.  We started out going there for our good friends wedding that turned into Mark's graduation, Jason and Stephanies engagement party, Jack Birthday, Jeanette's Baby shower oh and visit people too. It was a full packed week, something that I do not want to do again. Brooklyn was a trooper I had no idea when we were starting this voyage since Danny has been really busy with work so Thursday we are eating lunch and he says, "let's just go now!" No I had not packed anything and B was taking a nap. So the crazy wife that I am started packing and by 5 we were loaded and in the car. We drove 10hrs straight to St. George, it was crazy by about 1am Brooklyn was ready to get out but she held on playing with Danny's I-phone the final half hour stretch.

We had things to bring back so we drove the truck, this was B's sleeping position feet up on the center console. She is an amazing traveler.
In the morning we got up had breakfast and played at the pool before heading out. We were planning on driving the rest of the way to Cali, but decided to stay Friday in Henderson, NV to spend some time with cousins Jason and Stephanie. They were still at work so we took a detour to the Valley of Fire National Park. It was pretty to drive though, but SO HOT!! No thank you cannot live in Vegas. How do you do it Amy?
 Turtle or Beehive Rock?

These were some crazy wild Mountain sheep/ram that were in the middle of a housing track in Henderson, near Jason's house. They come down from the mountain and eat the grass at the nearby park then hangout in the culdasac and graze on the neighbors yards before heading back up the mountain.
I was nervous thinking of an escape plan if they came after us, especially when this one was staring at us.
Heading back home.
B and cousin Jason after dinner.

Fun family time

After over 3 years of not having a bike....Daddy got a bike. I guess you can call it that it has electric start so no more kick starting it and is street legal. He has already gone on a few rides with his friend Matt.
Yes that is my headband that she took form the bathroom and put on. I think she likes the bike.
Scooter time
She's wearing my helmet she since has gotten her own but it took us a while to get her to just put mine on she was afraid of them for a while.
Loves to cruise her car
Going for a hike to Table Rock
We made it to the top it was a long hard hike but worth the cool breeze and view at the top
This is the cross that is at the top that lights up at night
Gotta love the blue skies
Little pool and BBQ time with some of our old neighbors and some new
