Punkin Pickin' Time

Linder Farms is a local Pumpkin Patch that is family owned and operated. We have gone there for the last 3 years, it gets bigger every year, but it's all about the experience. We meet Richard, Steph and kids at the patch. Daddy and B on the tractor ride to pick the pumpkins.
Searching for the perfect one!
We found them!

It was cold, she was not to happy to have her jacket and hat off to try and take some cute pictures, oh well maybe next year!
Lucy was not to sure of the swings, she never smiled and had a death grip on the chain.
Daddy spoiling B and giving her fresh donuts.

Fun with the Fam!

Mommy's little helper! B really wanted to "Help" me pack for Utah, she kept taking things out and crawling in the suitcase.
Birthday Girl, Eliza! This is just one of the many animated faces she does, this girl is going straight to Hollywood.
Celebrating the Princess turning 3!
Marissa, Brooklyn, Lucas, and Eliza Cuddling on the couch!
On Saturday Oct 17th we went to This is the Place Monument. We just walked around since it was closed for Halloween time they turn it into a haunted place at night, and it looked like it would be pretty scary. This is the plaque from outside the Fire house that my great great (possibly one more great?) Grandpa Jesse C Little helped start when he came across the plains. He was the first volunteer firefighter and later was Chief Engineer of the first non-volunteer station was started. He helped create the first manually pumped engine.

Cherlyn, Dad and I riding on the train
Some of the horses that the kids all helped feed
Brooklyn riding in the wagon with the flour bags
Show us the way boys!
Grandparents with the grand kids from Utah and Idaho
Dad showing Lucas where Jesse C Little is on the Monument. He is the second on the top.
Grandma and B hanging out at Marissa and Miranda's soccer game. They both scored the only goals of the game.
Miranda and B modeling their new hats from Napol that Caleb and Uncle Blake gave them. They had just gotten that Sunday afternoon from an 18 day trip. They went to do humanitarian work, Blake removed some Kidney Stones the first doctor to perform that procedure there. They were huge, we are so lucky we do not have to suffer through that pain here.
Princess Eliza and Princess Lucy. They loved to dress up, I think they wore these outfits all weekend.

Cousins hanging out playing a little piano after church. Thank you Cherlyn for the piano Brooklyn loves it, glad it could be passed down to another generation.

So those are some of the fun things we did while hanging out with the family. It was a short weekend, but fun to spend time together and see mom and dad off to their new adventure. Maybe we can visit them before they come home!

Ready or not here they come!

Wow! I can't believe the day is already here. Mom and dad are at the Missionary Trainig Center doing some training before they head to London on Nov 2nd. We got to go to SLC last weekend to spend some time with them before they left, I am glad we were able to go. I have been having the hardest time (apparently still am since I am crying writing this). I am happy for them and know it will be an amazing experience for them, it's just hard when you are used to picking up the phone and calling to ask simple questions about cooking or sewing or just seeing what they are doing. You would think since I moved away that I would have an easier time, but I think since I have moved away we have become closer. It's weird how when you live a few miles away life takes over and the phone doesn't even get used as much as it should, you take advantage of always being near family and friends.
I got to talk to Mom yesterday and she said they are doing great up early and in bed late so they were enjoying doing nothing on Saturday. They are meeting other couples and enjoying getting to know the basics, this next week they will learn more about what they will be doing in the Family History Archives. It was great to hear from mom. More on the rest of our weekend in SLC another day!
Grandma and Papa with B and the Johnson Gang (minus Caleb he was at school) before heading out to the MTC
When they come back B will be almost 2 1/2 years old!
We surprised them Sunday morning with an English Tea Breakfast complete with Scones and Crumpets! Yummy
The Center piece for dinner - the only thing English about the dinner. We made them Mexican food since they will not be getting any for the next 18 months.

Nana Visits and Birthday Fun!

Just a little side note: I don't know what it up, but every time I download photos they turn out grainy just on Blogger, is this happening to anyone else?

Ok, now for the post. Nana came for a visit it just so happened to be Danny's birthday that weekend so we had fun celebrating and just hanging out.

Playing at the Wheelers house before dinner.
Brooklyn always looking for a free ride and Garrett is a great sport to push her around.
Brooklyn thinking she is so cool playing in Garrett's car for a few days.

We went for a little hike up at Bogus it was a beautiful day!

We went downtown to walk along the river and go to the farmer's market.
After the market we ran into Cousin Zane working hard at the theater.
So I was lame and this was the only picture I took! Happy Birthday Danny. We had Grey's night so friends came over to eat some dinner and ice cream cake. It was a fun evening.

Swim Lessons

Brooklyn and I have been taking mommy and me swim classes at the YMCA since the end of August. It has been a ton of fun watching her learn new things and seeing how much she enjoys the water. She gets so excited when we get in the water she starts kicking and talking. Some of the others in the group say she is the happiest baby in the group. Brooklyn is the youngest in the group, but keeps up with the others no problem. These are some pictures from class, that Nana took when she was visiting. It was fun to show Nana B in the pool and to get pictures, thank you for coming.Learning to float on her back
B with Miss Summer getting ready to go under water
and now back out of the water. She does good not swallowing the water and is not afraid to get her head wet.

Always a ham for the camera!

Playing in the kiddie pool before swim lessons
My big girl waiting on the bench while I get dressed!

Just a little Video of Brooklyn doing her favorite thing "Kicks and Scoops"

It's all about Brooklyn

Ok, so some of the pictures are out of order, but you get the idea. Just a few moments that were captured by the camera. She is growing up way to fast, can't believe she will be a 1 year old next month. Crazy!
Attacking the corn, she loved chewing on the cob.
B's favorite thing to do be on Daddy's shoulders!
Yes, the Wienermobile was in town and Danny wanted us to go see it so after swimming we went to Fred Meyer and took some pictures and got a sticker! Weak I was hoping for a whistle or something fun, just a sticker and a coupon.
SO how does this thing work?
Oh, so happy to be riding my new toy. Thanks mom and dad this is cool!
Brooklyn so excited to be helping Daddy put together her new toy. She always wants to help him when he pulls out the screwdriver.
B thinking she is so cool driving with daddy
Garrett pushing Brooklyn around the house in his car! When they are both happy they play cute together!
