Barnetts and McCall

B hanging out with Uncle Josh and his new Iphone. Josh and Kristian came into town to check things out again, see how the housing market is, check out schools and Kristian meet with Doctors here to see if they could take care of her if they move here.
Josh had a long day passed out on the couch when we came back from the store.
At the end of the week we went to McCall Idaho to go to the Winter Festival. We rented a cabim with the Wheelers and Ispens. It was my first time to McCall, I was excited to go and have always wanted to go to the festival.
The festival is all about the ice sculptures throughout town. This one was the winner this year, outside a wood carvers shop.
Panning for cold even had a stream below him.
All those pictures were of the call of the wild sculpture pretty amazing, this was the second weekend of the festival so some of the ice had started melting but they were still so detailed.
Zambonie outside the ice rink
B walking along Vendor row thinking she is just so grown up.
Didn't try one, but they are supposed to be really good.

The kids loved stomping in the water.

That evening to finish out the festival they had fireworks over the lake.

It was a pretty amazing show, lasted a while

Brooklyn liked checking out all the colors.

Playing with her new light saber that the Wheelers bought her.

Garrett and Brooklyn playing with there leaptops in the morning.

On the way home we took a detour and went to Tamarack to check it out.

It is a beautiful resort, hopefully they can get the financing figured out and keep it open so we can ski there one day.
Tired girls, it was a long weekend time to take a little nap.

We had a lot of fun taking turns with meals, playing games, playing in the snow, taking walks with our friends. It was a beautiful place, the cabin was perfect. We could not have asked for a more relaxing fun filled weekend away. Hopefully we will do it more often.

January

Brooklyn loves to color with her daddy, as I type she is coloring on the floor with him. Since I am so far behind I decided to just post the whole month of January in one post. So it will be long and full of pictures, but done and then I can move on to the other 2 months that I am behind on. Enjoy!
Playing castle with Annde, she loves her new friends and I am grateful that they get along so well. It makes the days I watch her that much easier.
Happy 2nd Birthday Annde!
Brooklyn showing her how to find the items in the book
Annde's favorite toy toddler sized pony
Brooklyn loved showing off to all Cegnar family members.
The best of friends
Cupcake cones, yum
Thanks for inviting us to your birthday celebration Annde, it was a great time!

Daddy was in need of a new snowboard so he borrowed this one from a guy at the local board shop to see if he liked it and now he is the proud owner. Brooklyn was showing us how to jump.
Daddy breaking in the new board.
Mom giving it a try and no I was not about to try and jump on this thing.
Brooklyn trying to read, look at the concentration.

Play time at the mall. This is where we go when it is cold, snowing, raining basically winter time when we have done the libarary and need soemthing free to do to get teh energy out. This place is pretty neat all the toys are rubber, they are soft when you touch them.
What mommy the sunblock that is all over my hands and mouth is not lotion and ok to play with?
Dress up time. It's a dalmation in high heels.
Brooklyn has recently discovered the box of dress up clothes that Auntie Claudia sent us that used to be her daughter Paige's. As you can tell they are quite big for her, but she does not care. For some reason she loves the gold skirt.
Her modeling pose
Annde got in on the dress up too, she has a big brother so she is not quite used to all the girly stuff, but we are slowly training her.

Playing outside Sweat, tutu, rain boots, extra large jacket, and beanie. Let the fun begin!
Danny went to Bogus to play with the new board and try out the new goggles.
The view of the valley so pretty!
He tries to go once a week with Eric ( a friend we meet at our old ward). Eric is on the lef tin the full face beanie.
More of the mountain, I am glad he gets to get out every once in a while a take a break from work. He works hard so that I can stay home and Brooklyn and I can have fun. Well that was January onto more exciting Febuary, visitors and mini weekend vacation!

Home Sweet Home

B was helping me make Cinnamon rolls to take to friends and neighbors since we were not here for Christmas we gave them out for New Years! Notice the cute new apron, she must wear anytime mommy puts her's on.
Such concentration
Yes sweeping she loves to do it and I am more than happy to ahve her help.
Playing with her new nursery she got at Christmas that daddy put together while she was sleeping. She was quite happy to play with it in the morning.
I have no idea what she was doing, but this is how I caught her later when we moved her toys in her room. Goofy girl.
For New Year's  we decided last minute to go to the Hockey game, so we ate dinner downtown and went to the game.
B's first game, not sure she new what was going on, but she watched some of it and preferred to people watch. She was did a lot of switching seats and wondering, but what can you expect she is only 2 and it was her bedtime.
Never could get her to look and smile with us in the picture.

We had pretty good seats for last minute. Go Steelheads!

After the game, tired girl so ready for bed.
New year's eve was mellow just hung out at home and played Wii games, B decided she wanted to stay up and after trying for 2 hours to get her to go to bed we just let her stay up. She was happy chilling on the couch watching us play. She finally called it a night at 11:30. It was nice to be at home for a little while after being gone.
