Happy Birthday, Garrett!

Garrett's cake that Matt and Marin made, super cute!
Swimming, notice the birthday boy jumping in on the left! Love it
Running through the sprinklers with Danny
Birthday boy was shy during the singing. Can't believe G is already 2 where has the time gone. It was a fun party so jealous of the summer birthdays so you can just play outside.

Cupcake time, G with all his ladies at the party. Don't worry Garrett next year more boys will be around.
Presents are always so much fun! Thanks for the great party G we had a good time and B loved her cupcake she got to take home.

Boogie Babies

The last 6 weeks of summer we took a mommy and me class through Parks and Rec in Boise. It was a fun little dance interactive class every Wed. Brooklyn really enjoyed it, when we would drive home I would ask her is she had fun and she always said Yes while admiring her stamp all day on her arm.
Above she was playing with rhythm sticks and standing on her toes.

Waving the scarf around the room
Obstacle course, jump from shape to shape
Go across the balance beam
Crawl through the tunnel. This took her a few classes to go through she was not to sure about it moving as she tried to go in. It was a proud moment when she finally did it.
Sticks and taps
Parachute time
Getting a ride on the parachute
Quite time, laying down waiting for the teacher to pass the scarf over them so they can turn into butterflies.
Stamp time always a fascination to them each time. I think we will try to sign up for it this fall.

August Fun

Brooklyn was excited when we removed her try and put the arms up on the highchair so she could eat at the table with us. Such a big girl, now she actually sits in her seat until she is done eating.
Ready Daddy, are we really going down that?
OK here we go!
Not sure about trying this all by myself! You would never know by that face that she actually likes it and kept going back for more.
Homemade Play Dough, great stuff easy to make, last a long time, makes a ton, doesn't leave your hands as salty and endless fun!
Mashing it up!

Our water girl, she loves to play in the water. Here she took the hose and is trying to get mom and dad, all while laughing wickedly!
Trying to tell her to water the tree not us
Yum nothing like a little irrigation water!
Drop it and RUN!!
Swimming at the local Golf course swimming pool. Super find not far, cheap and great entertainment. Some day we will have a pool in the sub (we hope) so we can just walk down the street.
Walking back after watching the boys on the diving board
B's 1st Bike. We found at a garage sale for $5. I have been looking for one and almost broke down and bought a new one until we just happened to come across this bargin. I was super excited I was dreading paying $30-40 for a transition bike. The peddals are a little far still, but she will get there one of these days.
She is pretty fast with her Flintstones feet up and down the street. She is fascinated with bikes she spots them out everywhere we go and says bike. I don't know what it is about those 2 wheels but she loves them.

Bull Trout Lake

This past weekend we got to go camping with our friends. We got there before everyone else so we started getting set up while the others arrived. Brooklyn is our little helper she was excited to help with the tent.
This was our view of the lake, it was just one of the few lakes they have in the areas. It was beautiful. We had never been here before and it was a perfect place for kids the water was warm and sallow so B could play  in the lake.
Brooklyn has always liked hanging out with Victoria, so when we were in the water she wouldn't let go of  her most of the time.
Kimmy and Dale got a new puppy, Scatter he is only 6 weeks old. Brooklyn liked following him around and trying to pick him up.
Matt and Mr. Bear swimming after a long day of riding.
The lake when the sun was going down.
Porter dog swimming
Campers from the back Victor, Jenny, Rachel and Ron. Jenny and Victor planned the camping trip and invited us to join them. It was a great time and nice to get away and relax especially since Danny worked 60 hours in 4 days.
Matt, Marin and Matt O'Connor with Scatter
Matt and Sara
Dale and Kimmy
Our camping group minus Victoria and Victor's family they were at a different camp site.

Mischevious B

Cousin Kirabella gave B this Dalmation costume, she discovered it in her room and was quite excited to wear it.
We were not to sure what she would think when she looked in the mirror but she liked it even more
This is what happens when mommy takes a shower and B stands on her tippy toes and reaches in for what ever her little hand can grab in my makeup drawer.
She came walking out of her room with her hat on backwards and her little bucket so proud of herself.
Her latest has been covering her face with her hands when I tell her to not do something. She thinks I can't see her anymore. Then when I say tell her I can still see her she gives me that big cheesy smile like in the picture above. Oh we are in for it in the years to come.
