So if you haven't been able to tell already we like to do things outside and we like racing. The Racing here is not like California races, but they are still fun and much cheaper than the California Speedway. Although we do miss the Desert Races, there is not really anything here that is like watching the Off-Road Trucks.
We started our Saturday with a great French Toast Breakfast that Danny made! Then we washed the cars and headed to downtown Boise for the Farmers Market, it was a cool morning in the 70's not to hot to walk around and enjoy the fresh produce and things that the market offered. We got a few Vegetables, home grown tomatoes (sure do miss dad's garden) yum! and Danny got himself an Elk and Buffalo Salami. He can't wait to eat that for lunch. We are in Idaho now, you could get a whole side of beef here from the farmers if you had the freezer room.
We came home had some lunch, Danny took a nap while I went shopping and then we went to the Speedway, it is now 5pm and the heat has turned on. It was in the 90's and we were going to the races, crazy! At least when we got there we were able to find somewhat shady seats. Danny had control of the camera and took some video of the event. As you can tell in this video he put together he was having fun editing the footage. I was so excited to be on camera as well, looking nice and white and chubby! Next investment before anymore races: Stadium Padded Chairs!
Good Times with the Rednecks at the speedway! Enjoy the Video
