Busy Weekend

We were invited by Mrs. Wheeler to go to her school's Carnival at Eagle Elementary.
Marin was in the dunk tank, it was fun to watch the kids get so excited to try and dunk their teacher.

Going under!!

Some of the games, they had the Eagle High Football team come and run all the games. Tehy did a great job and were good with the kids.

WE told her to throw the beanbags so that they landed in the hole, so she stepped right up to it and threw them in. Cheating , but she made it in the hole

These guys were cute, they were encouraging her and then grabbed the ball and put it in the hole and shouted you did it!

The daredevil climber now!

Baby Reagan is not so little anymore, the big 1 year old!

B was not quite sure about the whole huge bounce house thing so, one of the players went with her and helped her up to and down the slide.

Garrett getting so big and enjoying a Krispy Kreme

The second time was easier, G waited for B at the top and slide down with her.

Garrett not afraid to say hi to Buster Bronco

Brooklyn totally afraid. It was a great evening spent with friends that we have not been able to see or spend time with in a while. Thanks for inviting us Marin.

Saturday we went to Breakfast and went to our neighbor Mikey's T-ball game, it was probably in the 70's and we were all sweating hot! After nap we got to go the Jenny and Victors for a quick visit and dinner before we were off to watch Hannah and Lucy at their dance recital.

Lcuy is the blurry one in the middle jumping. It was a super cute dance, my favorite.

Hannah is the shorter one on her toes! She is crazy how she can stand on point in regular ballet shoes.
You did an amazing job girls we are so proud of you!
Brooklyn loved watching the dancers, Clara was signing the songs and dancing along with the girls. After they let the kids dance on teh stage and B was right up their dancing with them. It was cute, I will post the video later.
We ended our weekend having a great dinner at the Wheelers, another fun busy weekend filled with family and friend time. Thanks for the great weekend everyone.

Enjoying May Days with the Barnetts

The Barnett Family came to town for Josh to take the Boise Police Dept. test. They came to town and my parents and Danny left for Utah. Dani did a state report on Idaho so we went to downtown to take pictures of the Capital.
Brooklyn was enjoying the scenery

More joys of Springtime

Apparently all the visitors has made B really tired and excited. She was having a hard time staying in her bed to go to sleep, I went to check on her and this is what I found. I could only open the door that much, on the other side was..

This little one had fallen asleep on the other side of the door. I had to reach my hand in the opening and move her out of the way to get in enough to put her back in bed.

We had amazing weather all week it was sunny and warm, I was able to get some planting done and we spent as much time outside as possible. We went to Ann Morrison Park for a walk along the river one evening, this squirrel was enjoying someone's picnic while they were playing.

The river is crazy high and fast moving right now, fun to see what scarey hopefully people stay away from the water.

The Barnett Family, we found out after their visit that Josh did not get the job. We are sad it would be nice to have friends nearby and for them to move out of the craziness of California, just hoping something else comes up so they can get up here next year.

I missed shopping and sharing dinners with these guys. We got to spend a morning shoppign togther while Josh stayed at home and played with the girls. That was fun and my house got soem new decor!! Thanks Josh and Kris.

Spring time is here, this duck was covering her ducklings she had about 7 of them under her feathers, it was quite cute.

Friday Donny and Marie Osmond were here at teh local WalMart  signing there new CD. Apparently our walmart sold the most CD's so they came here to sign autographs. We just happened to be going there when they were there, the line was fast so we decided to get and autograph too. They were very nice, Marie even looked at me and told me I was beautiful, I felt so special! ha ha
It was a great week, loved the weather and spending time with friends. It is always sad to see them leave, but we will see them this summer when we travel for Mark and Cara's wedding.

I got to finish the weekend with Marin at the performance of Wicked!! I had seen it in Cali before we left with Jen and Todd and loved it. I wanted to see it again, because there were things that I did not remember how they happened. Plus the music is so fun. It was a last minute opportunity that we got tickets from someone she works with. Thanks for inviting me Marin, I had a great time.

MAY-be Spring is coming!!

I planted about 90 tulips in Oct and they started sprouting up in april, I was so excited here they are in bloom!!
I love the spring time when the waether starts warming up, the birds start chirping and everything starts coming to life.

Brooklyn took a bath in our big jetted tub, Daddy was a little sore so he decided to get in with her. She was in heaven lots of laughing and playing during this bath, they were in their for over an hour and she was the happiest to be sharing the bath with her daddy.

Brooklyn got her first haircut, as you can tell on the right side it was longer and the left side she pulls out. Yes she gets tired or frustrated and twist her hair and them pulls it. It is beyond irritating to me and I have no idea how to stop her, we try to tell her no and explain that she needs to let her hair grow, but she doesn't get it. So she self grooms one side of her head.
Before
The stylist was so nice I explained our issue and she put her part on the left side to help it look like she had more hair over there and then layered the back to make it look fuller.
All done, it was a cute bob on the right side where she has hair, we are still working on the left side hoping it will grow and be somewhat the same length all the way around so she can be so cute in her Uncle Mark's wedding in July!
Grandma and Papa came to visit for the first time since they got back from their mission. It was so fun , they finally got to see our new house and Brooklyn was so happy to have them stay with us.

Saturday they had a free fishing day downtown where they provided the poles and bait, so we stopped by their to fish for a little bit before heading to the farmer's market. Brooklyn was excited to reel teh line in and cast it back out.

Grandma go in on the fishing action too.

Mommy and Daddy took turns helping B cast her line out.
Grandma and Papa took turns fishing, we didn't have much luck but had fun enjoying the sunshine and watchign the eagles dive down and catch fish.

Look at me Mom, i'm fishing!

She said she liked fishing and that made her daddy happy! After the farmer's market we went to lunch and headed to Lucky Peak to see the Rooster tail.

Lucky Peak ready for boaters
Looking down at the rooster tail, this year they let you drive around it so you could see it from different views. Teh Rooster tail happens whenever their is a lot of snow in the mountians and the dam realeses it into the river.

Backside of the dam
Getting closer ot the front, it was quite a sight to see. You could feel the mist from the water driving in your car.

Now that you saw all the differnt angles, are you impresessed? Probably not it really is cool in person.

Happy Mother's Day! Mother's day was a treat this year, I got to spend it with my mom. It was a busy weekend and day preparing for dinner with the Little Family, but it was fun to all be together. I am grateful that I am a mommy and for the blessings that she has brought to our family, it is not always easy to be a stay at home mom, but I am so happy that I have a hard working husband that makes it possible for us to live in a beautiful home, allows me to stay at home and we still have a little left over to do activites as a family. Sometimes, I miss my job in the dental field, miss socializing with others and helping them get through their procedures, but I get to help my daughter with her daily discoveries and adventures. I love you my Brooklyn Rose.

It was Ricky's birthday too so we celebrated.
Grandparents are so much fun!

Jake had a school music program that mom and dad happened to be here for so we got to go see his performance, it was hard to get any good pictures. Here he is playing the instruments
Brooklyn was excited to find Jake and loved listening to the music.
Clara and Brooklyn they are gonna be little trouble makers together. They are so cute when they see each other they give big hugs to each other. It will be fun watching them grow up together.

We had a great visit with mom and dad, I wish the weather was a little better so that I could have used their expertise on planted more things around my house, maybe mext time. Thank you for coming to visit us come back anytime. We love you!
