GO BRONCOS

Monday Night we went to the Cerda Family (pictured above) home for chili, cornbread and the Fiesta Bowl. As you can tell they are big fans, Jenny works for BSU so they really know how to bring the spirit.
Broncos WON the Fiesta Bowl, it was a great game. Amazingly B stayed awake for the whole game it did not end until 10pm. I thought we would leave at halftime, but we do not get the channel at home so Danny would not be able to watch the rest. Good thing for late naps and other people to entertain her. She really loved Victoria (Victor's daughter) she kept going up to her and giving her long hugs.
Crashed out! She only made it a few blocks, poor baby we ran her hard that night.

Just Because...

I am a dork and was excited that we were all dressed up and went to church together on time (granted it did not start until 2 but when you have been lazy all morning it is hard to get ready and out the door on time). And because my husband is a good sport and will take photos when he knows I am so proud of our family. And because Danny has been working out at the gym for the last few months losing weight, eating better, can fit in his old pants and better in his suit coat!!! I try at the gym lost some weight, but he is much better than me. So proud of you babe keep up the good work you are motivation for me.
Love you babe, thanks for being a good sport and always supporting me.
Brooklyn was trying to figure out what we were telling her to smile at, there is no one there! My parents are crazy! I Love my family, cheeks and all we are darn cute.

2010 Already?

Well this year had its sad moments but overall has been a good year. We have been blessed in more ways then we could count and look forward to a great new year ahead. We will miss the loved ones that have passed on, but will see you again someday and know you are watching over us everyday.

We look forward to hopefully moving into our first home that we have been waiting for since September, traveling for weddings this Spring/Summer, seeing our family and friends, maybe trying for baby #2 and best of all watching Brooklyn continue to grow and walk more each day.

We hope each and everyone of you have a very happy New Year we wish you lots of Health and Happiness for 2010. I hope you have enjoyed seeing what we have been doing this past year and even though you are not all here to enjoy with us I feel that you are apart when we share on the Blog. I look forward to continuing to hear about your families new happenings it has been a fun way to stay in touch.

Christmas 2009

This year was a bit different than we are used to. We spent this the holidays at home with no visitors, I know you are amazed. It was nice, but sad to not be near everyone. We however did enjoy just doing our own thing, staying in our PJ's, and not having to travel all over the place in 2 days. The biggest plus is B got to stay on her schedule and remain fairly healthy. Yes the picture above is her with one of the 2 new hot wheels she got from Santa. She also got a tool box from her daddy since she loves to help him fix things.
Playing with her new finger puppets.
Mega Blocks a standard for most kids
Me enjoying my new pj pants and sweatshirt. (It still counts even though I bought them for myself and had daddy wrap them right?)
New Beanie for the Palleva family, thank you so cute and has room to grow might still fit next year!
New Build a Bear, Monkey from Uncle Mark. It has a button inside that has Marks voice recorded saying "Uncle Mark love you" she smiles every time she hears it. Thank you Mark for spoiling our family this year it was a lot of fun opening your gifts.
B with her new Elmo phone from Auntie and her tutu from a new pair of PJ's mom got her.

I was lame and hardly took any pictures at Grandma Etta's on Christmas day. We enjoyed a great ham dinner there. It was a mellow evening for everyone and home just in time for B to go to sleep. Thank you Grandma Etta for the nice dinner and deserts.
After we got home, put B down we decided to play a little Wii. Yes our new game system from Mark. It is so much fun I am not very good yet, but getting better as we play. It was a wonderful gift to get, it helped distract from not being around family. Thank you Tahnk you Mark, can't wait for you to visit so we can all play.
This was before he kept palying and is now a PRO tennis player, whatever show off! :) Thank you to everyone that helped make this Christmas a great holiday rather it be through gifts, cards, phone calls, or just stopping by we truely apprecitate all that you do for us. We love you and miss you.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we had a little quite family dinner at home just the 3 of us. The rest of the evening was spent at Richards house retelling the Nativity Story with the kids acting, Ricky narrating, and Steph playing the piano. It was a low key relaxing evening with family and neighbors.
Clara was not feeling so good, but she was a good sport and played the wise man.
Angel Lucy
The Shepard's, Holden, B and Jake
Hannah was another Angel. Its always fun to see the kids dressed up and watch there reactions and expressions to the story. Thanks Little for a nice evening.

Live Nativity

In a nearby City, Eagle the Young Men and Young Women get together at someones Farm to reenact the Nativity complete with a live Camel and Donkey. This was our first year going so we were not quite as prepared as we should have been for the cold, but we had a good time anyways. You park a little ways away from the house so they bring you in on a tractor/hay ride to the gates of Bethlehem. You are greeted by a fire, camel and 2 Roman Soldiers from there you are escorted to the Inn Keepers by the Shepard's. Then you learn that there is no room so you are then escorted to the shepherds being greeted by angels signing. Then you journey down a candle lit road to the Manger where you see the Wise Men giving gifts to baby Jesus. As part of a donation they ask you to bring a gift to the babe of canned goods for the local food bank.
Brooklyn has admired the nativity we have at the house and always wants to see baby Jesus so when we took her here she was excited and waved at the baby. It was cute even when we walked away she turned around to wave bye.
Being escorted by the shepherds and donkey to see the Manger.
After it was over they had Hot Chocolate and a fire for everyone. It is only for 2 nights and they do an amazing job everything is very welled timed and done. I could see us making this a tradition as long as they keep doing it. The first night they had over 1500 people.
The Camel, it was a baby one.

Ya for Visitors!

As you probably could tell from the previous posts that we have had guests at our house since Thanksgiving. It is always a good time to have friends and family come to stay with us. Here are a few pictures of when Mike and Nicole Givenrod and Kristian Barnett came to visit. They came the weekend it decided to snow for the first time all winter. It is a true way to decide if you really like it here. I know we enjoyed it come again!
It was a long morning playing in the snow at the Farmers Market.
Some of the Neighborhood kids shoveling our driveway so they could build a giant snowman in the middle of the street.
The big hill at Hyde Park that some crazy people where sledding all the way down. As you can tell it was the first official snow so it was more like dirt sledding.
The Capitol Building in the background
Some fun people that live here dressed as reindeer. We thought it was funny so had to take a picture then later saw a trolley driving around town full of people dressed as reindeer and Santa.
The tree downtown.
