Ity Bity B

I may be on the smaller side, but still so darn cute!
Thanks Aunt Jen for the outfit to make me even cuter.

I don't know what happened, but I had a baby that was delivered 1 week early because she was getting to big and now she decided to be a petite little girl.

Brooklyn had her routine 4 month check up, she did pretty good considering I had to wake her up to go to the appointment. She is still taking her time growing, she weighs 11lbs. 14oz's (25% range), 24 ins tall (50% range) and her head is only in the 10% range. So she has pretty much gained only 1 pound a month since her 2 month checkup. The doctor doesn't seem to be to concerned since she is still growing and she is a strong happy baby. She had a hard time sleeping most of the day, she just wanted to be cuddled. She did however go down by 7:30, so this gave me some time to read the new book Aunt Dina got me that I can't put down!

Now we get to start Rice Cereal and see how she does, hopefully not constipate her to much since poor thing only goes once every 7-8 days, guess my milk is skim milk? So I am sure there will be some lovely pics of cereal all over her face, the messy adventure begins!

Visitors, Hooray!

Auntie Dina and Uncle Angelo came to visit for a long weekend! This was there first time meeting our little Brooklyn Rose. It is always great to have them here, we always enjoy there company and Auntie's amazing cooking. Danny of course always enjoys the Cabela's trips. This time instead of golfing they got to go shooting, the boys and the dogs. Thank you for making the drive and taking time of work, it was fun to have you here.
Tummy Time!

Dinner at Cheesecake Factory, so yummy!

Cool B!
(she was sleeping, had to try the shades on)

Her new trick, getting her hands out of her swaddle to suck on her fingers. Her fingers must taste good she loves to suck on them.

Our first Play Date!

Brooklyn, Jake, Sophia, and Emilia
A few weeks ago we got together with for a play date with the girls from pre-natal water aerobics. Keri on the far left holding Cameron is the last to have her baby due in June or July? with another boy. Then Rebecca holding her daughter Sophia is due with a boy March 30th. Me with B the oldest of the babies, Lyn holding Jake about 5 weeks old here and Michele holding Emilia about 4 weeks old. The only one not in the picture is Holly (our awesome instructor) she is taking the pic! It was fun to get together again, I have missed hanging a few times a week. I forgot how little the babiesa are when they are born. B looked so big compared to the newborns. I am excited for Rebecca to have her baby soon and we can start going to the park for walks when it warms up!

Happy St.Patty's Day from Happy Little B!

Well another holiday has arrived, nothing we really celebrate, but good reason to dress B up and take some updated pictures. Can't believe she will be 4 months next week. She is getting more and more animated everyday. This week she has been sleeping longer at night, Hooray to that. Of course I still get up make sure she is ok and have to pump to release the pressure, but long stretches of sleep is FABULOUS! Now I need to get up before her and do things around the house before she wakes up, nevermind I like sleep better! :)

Here's our little St. Patty's Girl - 15 weeks (Thanks Holly for the beautiful handmade blanket)

Thanks Aunt Claudia for the bib!

Here's a little video of our Singer, she loves to talk. The other morning she woke up and started chatting away, it was a great sound to wake up to. This is her talking to us while we work in the office or yelling a us to play with her?

B's photo shoot

So here are a few of a ton of pictures that Danny took for Brooklyn's 3 month photo shoot. In the effort to save money we tried this at home. They turned out good for not having the fancy equipment that the studios have, but in the budget. She is looks so big, no she is not sitting up by herself I was helping her. She does hold her head up really good by herself and sometimes thinks she can sit up. So I hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Now comes the tuff part decided what pictures to print.
She gets really excited when her daddy sings, "If your happy and you know it."

She wanted to eat the bear's bow it kept touching her face.

This is the quilt that Aunt Ursula made for her we lucked out getting her name in the picture. I loved the colors. Thanks Ursula you did an amazing job and thanks Claudia for the cute hair bow!

3 Months Wow!

Saturday morning I was getting ready and Danny and Brooklyn were just hanging out on the bed. Brooklyn was propped up against the Boppy trying to hang onto a toy. Danny comes in and tells me, you gotta see this. I go out and see B asleep on her Boppy. For the first time she got tired and decided to go to sleep, perhaps she was telling her daddy that she was bored of him :). It was way cute so of course crazy new parents start taking pictures and then texting family with the picture. She moved a little while we were snapping the flash in her face, but stayed sleeping. AWWW it is moments like this that I love being a mom.

Last weekend, Danny and B were watching Nascar together. She is going to be my little Jimmy Johnson Fan. GO Lowes 48! (notice her bald patch, she loves to rub her head in the sheets when she sleeps, hopefully someday she will have hair there - good thing for headbands)

Here is Brooklyn 2-24-09 on her 3 month Birthday, I forgot to take pictures that day so before she went to bed I took this one. Can't believe how fast the months have gone. We did a little photo shoot of her, they came out pretty cute. That will be the next post.
