This was the view of the mountains as we were driving to downtown from the Friday night snow.We had to dig out our winter clothes,but braved the cold (about 30 degrees) and went to the Buddy Walk (The National Down Syndrome Fundraiser) to walk for Team Ansley. Last year when we came to visit we were able to participate, so we have decided to make it an annual thing. Ansley is my brother Richards neighbors little girl. It is a quick walk form the Capitol building to Ann Morrison park where they have a pizza lunch and games and entertainment. It is fun to participate especially to bring your kids and make it a family day. I enjoy participating and donating to different causes and hope to be able to participate this next year in more events.
